I love PNR and Urban Fantasy, I loved then three years ago, I love them now and I will love them still three years later. Dead Heat was my favorite because of Anna and Charles. If I had to use one word to describe this book it would be beautiful. Visit an old friend who wouldn't be around much longer, buy a horse for Anna's birthday and have a break from the emotional strain that being the werewolves' hitman always puts on Charles.īut sometimes trouble finds you even when you least want it and when a Fae goes around replacing children with changelings right on their friends' doorstep, Charles and Anna will do their best to find the threat and eliminate it.
